Transfer: Arsenal finally complete Nicolas Pepe’s signing




Arsenal on Tuesday completed the signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
DAILY POST had earlier reported that Pepe will fly in for his medical checks with Arsenal today, after both clubs agreed on a £72million deal.
Pepe signed a five-year deal with the Gunners and becomes the most expensive African football ever.
The Ivory Coast international emerged as one of this summer’s most sought after players, after scoring 22 goals in the league last season.
Napoli and Liverpool were also keen on the player, but his agent decided that Unai Emery’s project is the best for the 24-year-old.
