Lion sledge teenager to death in a zoo in Benin Republic (see photos)



A lion in a private zoo pounced on a teenage zoo worker and mauled him to death in Bohicon, Benin Republic.

The tragic incident took place on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, as the 14-year-old boy zoo worker was carrying out maintenance check in the lion's cage. It wouldn't be the first time the boy is going into the cage for maintenance.

Police were later called to the zoo and the lion was killed.
