Donald Trump - Impending War Between USA and North Kerea.

US Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford said that pursuing diplomacy and economic sanctions remain the US's top priority, but the unpredictable nature of North Korea means military options must be ready for the potential outbreak of war.

Dunford made the comments during a discussion with South Korean president Moon Jae-in during a meeting to discuss the recent soaring tensions between Pyongyang and Washington.

Mr Moon urged the US not to allow the situation to deteriorate to a point where war is inevitable.

The South Korean leader, who has only been in office since May, said: "There must be no more war on the Korean Peninsula. Whatever ups and downs we face, the North Korean nuclear situation must be resolved peacefully.

Fears that North Korea is close to achieving its aim of putting mainland United States within range of a nuclear missile have resulted in a war of words in recent days, with President Trump and Kim Jong-un exchanging insults and threats that have put the world on edge.
