The Ogun State Government Has Confirmed That a 20 years Old Boy had Transfered Lasser Fever to 66 people living in Abeokuta:
The Ogun State Government has confirmed that a 20 years old Boy had been tested positive of Lassa fever in the state after travelled back to the state from neighbouring state, Lagos.
State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Babtunde Ipaye made this known while addressing Journalists in his office, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
Said the Boy was immediately put into the isolated centre. 66 persons who had direct contact with the boy are currently under surveillance.
Dr Ipaye said, the boy is responding to treatment.
Added that every person should be careful and take precaution.
