Amber Rose has incurred the wrath of internet users after she made comments that suggested she found girls from Philadelphia where she’s from not ‘traditionally attractive’
The entrepreneur got on the podcast Drink Champs with rapper N.O.R.E and while answering a question ‘I grew up in a very poor neighbourhood, and I don’t know how I can say this without sounding f***ed up, but a lot of the people where I’m from aren’t traditionally attractive people.’
‘For me, being blessed with beauty, as beautiful women know, is a blessing and a curse, and to grow up in such an area and be blessed with beauty was very difficult for me. And a lot of people used to be like, “You ain’t from South Philly, you’re from California or something”.’
Since then, Rose has received heavy backlash from internet users who are displeased with her comments with many taking to social media to air their unhappiness with many pointing out that growing up she wasn’t all that pretty herself.
